Cascabel
The Cascabel Wind Project will be Bordas’ first wind project located in Starr County, Texas. Cascabel is projected to be a 400 MW wind project and will be located near the towns of Lopeno and Falcon. We are targeting commercial operation in early to mid-2028.
Las Crestas
The Las Crestas Wind Project is being developed as a 400 - 500 MW wind project in northern Zapata County near the town of San Ygnacio, Texas. This proposed wind project will encompass approximately 75,000 acres and has a targeted commercial operation date of 2028.
Barranca
The Barranca Wind Project is currently planned as one of the largest wind projects to be developed and constructed in South Texas. At an expected project size of 500 - 600 MW, Barranca will span over both Zapata and Jim Hogg Counties in wide-open ranch space. We are targeting commercial operation in 2028 or 2029.
Loma Pinta
The Loma Pinta Energy Project will be Bordas’ first energy project in La Salle County, Texas. Loma Pinta is located in the heart of the Eagle Ford Shale drilling zone and is expected to be combined 400 MW solar and wind project. The project will be one of the closest wind projects to be constructed to the San Antonio load center, which means it will be located where the electricity will actually be used. The combination of wind and solar also produces a "round the clock" production profile. We are targeting commercial operation in late 2028.
